JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge

Another photo of the run. Looks like many are in their company t-shirts.
Good publicity for all the companies as well eh?

According to the website, there's 12,748 participants from 351 companies represented.

It looks like the dark clouds behind is not preventing all these people from running.
Run Forest Run!

Do you like running? I have friends who wakes up at 4 am to run before going to work!

JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge

Momo was at this run yesterday. It's the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge, and it's the 5th cycle in Singapore.

The primary beneficiary of the challenge is the Asian Civilisations Museum.

Were you a participant in this run yesterday in Singapore? Or have you participated in this run if it's also in your city?

Food from the Heart

Do you know what happens to the food from shops that you buy from after the day's over?

Those who are part of the voluntary food program decides to give their food for free to the needy ones instead of selling them the next day.

You can read more about Food from the Heart program. Visit their website at www.foodheart.org for more info.

I happen to have lunch today at a participation restaurant that gives their unsold food away.

This is printed on their paper serviette.

Is there a similar program in the city you live in?

Charity Toy House

Is giving to charity one of the to-dos for Christmas for you? In one of the shopping centres down in Orchard Road, Paragon, a Charity Toy House was set up in aid towards the Straits Times School Pocket Fund.

One could donate $20 into the box and go into the "house" and pick up a gift of your choice. The gifts are wrapped and they include animal-bags, scarves, wooden toys, blankets, pencils cases and height rulers. The nett proceeds go into the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

Those living in Singapore, hurry down there and do something meaningful this Christmas :)
Those not living in Singapore, do you have something like that in your city?
