The High Tech Turtle of Singapore

Think we love to give things nicknames in Singapore.

We have the Esplanade and we call it the 'durian'. This is the new National Stadium being build. I think it looks like a 'turtle', don't you think so?

Would it be called "The Turtle" or "Tortoise"?



You won't be bored in Singapore when you can watch many shows or sports that will be doing on there. It should be ready in mid 2014, a few months more! Can't wait.

Once it's completed, it would have the world's largest Dome Roof.

Singapore Sports Hub

The Singapore Sports Hub under construction.



This should be the new 55,000 capacity National Stadium?

The 2015 SEA Games will be held here on 5 - 16 June.
Can't wait for both the Sports Hub and the Games to be ready!

National Stadium...

Another building in Singapore that's soon to be demolished. It will make way for the Singapore Sports Hub, the project has been delayed a few times.

Let's see when they will finally pull this grand dame down and replace it with a Sports Centre that will most probably be mostly occupied by shops and restaurants. It's so predictable for buildings in Singapore.



This stadium was opened to the public way before I was born!
