Just saw a waiting bike at the traffic light and saw that it's named Samuel.
Do you think the biker's name is Samuel or it's the name of the bike?

Single Seater Micro Electric Vehicle (EV)

These single seater micro electric vehicles looks really cute don't they?
They look a bit like a mini one eye monster!



This was seen at NUS. The vehicles don't leave the campus grounds it seems.
The partner is Toyota Tsusho Singapore.

Singapore is testing out electric vehicles. Have you seen other electric cars around Singapore?

Approved Hor...

Saw this car yesterday and wanted to laugh.
The owner of the car had a modified exhaust pipe and it says 'Approved Hor...!!' on the bumper.



Sounds so 'Ah Beng / Ah Lian'.
Well, the wife says take out your camera and take take take.. LOL

Garbage bags along the road....

Every now and then, you will see lots of garbage bags on the side of the roads in Singapore.



Wonder why? It's leaves, twigs and other rubbish from the drainage opening on the roadside curbs.
The holes are usually where the garbage bags are. ;-)

It seems they are cleaning the holes more often after water can't seem to flow because the holes are blocked. Maybe the authorities can get them redesigned so that cleaning is not needed?

Cash Rich Buyer

We see signs like this everywhere. You think people don't simply paste notes in neat and tidy Singapore, but the reality is that Singapore's like other countries.



It puzzles many locals how some people can be so rich and afford to pay so much cash for houses when the prices are now sky high!

It says Singapore has the highest concentration of millionaires in the world. Higher than Switzerland it seems. Is the report accurate it says 16% of households have at least 1 million in assets. Well I am not one of them.

Well, we know for sure the Members of Parliament in Singapore get that much a month!

Singapore Newspaper Distributors Association

I never knew there is an association for newspaper distributors until I saw this last Saturday!




I assume the people who joined the association are those who distribute newspaper in the wee hours to household all over Singapore.

Do you think newspaper distributors have a tough job?

Is that a hole?

I happen to saw this on a building. I wonder what happened. There are holes on what looks like pillars.



It reminds, that what you see is usually it is. One look and that looks like a big pillar.
But it now looks like it is just a hollow column.

I am still curious, what happened!
Such a big hole!

Orchard Road - Road Raising

The roads are being raised along Orchard Road.



I got confused recently when I took a bus to Orchard Road.
The bus stops have shifted and I got down the wrong stop.






On another note, this photo reminds me:
"Look right, look left then cross." That's the thing to do when crossing the road. :-p

What is this structure?

I saw this in Chinatown today and wondered what it is.
I still have no idea. It is a few stories high and it's just empty.

Anyone knows what this is for?
