Comex: the place with the most IT gadgets and people per square foot in Spore!

These few days, most of people in Singapore will descend to Suntec City Exhibition Centre to gawk at the newest IT stuff and most probably be very tempted to buy them too!

I was interested in something, but I did not buy it in the end.

This would most probably be the place where you get both the most humans and IT gadgets per square foot in Singapore! This picture is taken of people looking at the Sony booth, one of the biggest there, with people playing a game.

Comex is on from 30 Aug - 2 Sept. There's 780 vendors occupying four levels there, spanning a massive 300,000 sq ft of floor space. It was also reported in the newspaper that more than $8m spent on Day 1!

People overseas, do you all have such big scale IT show?

Hmmm I am still thinking about the thing that I saw but I did not buy. Should I buy it? haha... Can you guess what it is? hehe....

Fountain of Wealth

This fountain was accorded the status of "World's Largest Fountain" in the 1998 edition of the Guinness Book of Records.

I was having lunch there today and saw people supposedly trying to gain some 'qi' from the fountain.

Have you visited this fountain before? By the way it's supported by four 13.8 metres high bronze legs.

My.Playground

"It's my choice" - that's the theme of the newly opened expansion area of Suntec City Mall, Level 3. It features funky streetwear, latest fashion, lifestyle must haves (wonder what's that?).

Over the past 2 months, some parts of Suntec City Mall went through some expansion as well as renovation to bring in some new shops to attract more people to shop there.

A question to you: What's your choice of lifestyle or what is your lifestyle must have?

Lunar New Year Decorations are Up!

Right after Christmas, they have put up the Lunar New Year decorations. This is at Suntec City.
That reminds me, I got to apply for long leave! ;-)

It's celebrations are celebrations in Singapore. The four religious group have 2 days of public holidays for their celebrations. I should not say religious group, for it can be said races too. eg Lunar New Year celebrations are not really religious, but a cultural one, celebrated by Chinese from all religious background.
