Painting the walls....

We have always pass this art / graffiti / mural / whatever you call it.
I finally decided to take a photo of it few weeks ago.

Painting the wall

It really catches your eye doesn't it?
It's also almost life size, look at the real human walking pass near the tree.

Painting the wall

To make it even more interesting, there's a fake window with people watching too!
This is at OCBC at Sixth Avenue.

Secure Device

The banks in Singapore have been sending updated versions of the 'secure device' to customers.

The 2nd generation devices are supposed to have more functions, but I guess it will only be used later.

Secure Device

I prefer the old smaller one.

There are so many banks in Singapore. Every bank is giving out their own version. Each person has at least 2 or 3 banks. Let's say half the population have bank accounts, about 10 million or more being distributed around Singapore these few months?

at the middle of the padang....

This was taken earlier today, in the evening as I was walking in the middle of the padang. the view of the tall buildings of mostly banks.

Padang (in the Malay language) means field. The Padang is also a well known open space in the CBD. You can read more about it at wikipedia.

Just trying out taking the picture is wide screen mode on my camera. It's suppose to be in full HD mode. Hmm.

Have a good weekend! How are you spending your weekend?

High Rise all belongs to banks?

This is a picture of the Singapore CBD skyline. Come to think of it, it seems that the taller buildings, most of them belongs to banks.

I can spot Maybank, Bank of China, Standard Chartered, United Overseas Bank, JP Morgan, OCBC Bank. Can anyone spot more? I am not really a CBD person. :-P

The low rise in front, the green field is called "The Padang". The cricket club is just beside it. The cluster of white buildling with a click tower, that's Victoria Concert Hall and the Asian Civilisation Musuem. On the right, it's the City Hall, where the Biennale 2006 was held.

A river goes between the high rise and low rise. The cluster of low rise near the tallies are Clarke Quay.
