Sometimes the Roof needs to be painted too...

For humans we need to shampoo our hair on our head.
For buildings, they need some painting over. People like me can look over their 'bald' spot. LOL

Painting the Roof

By the way, that's Seah Im Food Centre in Singapore. Lots of delicious food there!

Where to get your LV, Prada, Fendi, Hermes stuff cleaned.

I don't own any stuff from these brands, but if you do, do you clean them yourself or you send to the professionals to do it?

So where do get your Prada, Bally, YSL, Loewe etc cleaned?

This shop says they are the expert ;-)
Spotted at China Square, Singapore.

My window's being cleaned from up high...

Yesterday, I posted about the abseiling cleaners from the outside of the building. Well, a few hours later, they appeared in front of my office window!

I felt like a fish in an aquarium. With the water being sprayed on the windows too. haha..

Well, they did a good job and I rewarded them. I think I was mad. I opened the latch on the window and pass them each a pack of ice cold milo. They were happy and they said they saw me take their photos and gave a big smile.

OK, when was the last time you cleaned your own house's window? haha...

Abseiling & Cleaning...

Was back from lunch today and I saw this. No, they are not commandos trying to save a damsel in distress or trying to snipe some terrorist in a building. They are this group of workers from a cleaning company that is cleaning the facade of a building.

Yes, they are enjoying every moment of it. You should watch them. Swinging around and spraying water at each other too! Yes, we can hear them sing too! These people must really love their work!

Do you love your current work as much as these guys? :-)

Abseil down the DSI

I don't know why, but I seem to like taking photo of people abseiling down buildings and cleaning them.

This was taken I think two days ago.

It reminds me of my cousin who is in Primary 5, who went to sports camp 2 weeks ago. She said they had abseiling. Makes me wanna try.

Have you tried abseiling?

Roads are clean thanks to them...

Everyone says Singapore is clean and green.
Why? We have to thank them for cleaning up after us.

We should thank them.

Paid to abseil - doing what you love and enjoy

Colleagues and I, we were having lunch and we saw these people cleaning the glass and aluminum facade of a building.

Halfway through lunch, we saw these people reaching the bottom and taking a rest. They have smiles on their faces. A colleague mentioned, they must love their job. Most probably they love abseiling and with this job, they get paid to do it!

Do you like your current job?

p/s This is a very common scene in Singapore. That's how Singapore buildings look clean!

It's a monthly thing. Cleaning it all out.

If you live in a HDB in Singapore, the surroundings are swept and mopped daily.
Once a month, the front of every house, from the top most floor to the void deck is jet sprayed cleaned. You can see the water flowing down along the staircase.

This is the jet spray used to clean up all the dirt.
Do you like doing cleaning in your house? Do you do it yourself, or hire someone to do it for you?

How many mops does it take to do the job?

I was walking around the CBD the other day, and saw this! It was in the back lanes and wow, so many mops being sunned.

What kind of mops do you use? I dun use mops like this anymore, I find that they do not clean the house well. We use Kao Magiclean mops, so easy to use :-)

Is it clean enough?

Everyone says Singapore is a very clean city. Yes it is! We got to thank all the armies of cleaners that are working everyday to keep the city spick and span.

The following photo must be familiar with most people. The trolley that the cleaner pushes that has all the things they need to clean up our mess.

This trolley seems very empty though. Anyone here a clean freak? Or are you a messy fella? Hmmm...
