i Light Marina Bay 2012 - ArtScience Museum
I just realised the i Light Marina Bay 2012 is over when I visited the festival's website today.
I only went there 2 times and have not finished all the different shows and was hoping to go there the 3rd time.
Last weekend, KopiKosongGirl and I took photos of the ArtScience Museum. The first time we took photos of the Merlion, located at the other end.
It's so nice isn't it?
Creativity, Artistry and Electricity.
The 'petals' of the ArtScience Museum used as a canvas for the video projected.
Love the reflection as well.
It was quite entertaining watching the video.
Did you all go?
For techies, here's the projectors that created those effects.
3 sets of projectors for this location on the Helix Bridge.

There was 4 more projectors near to the Marina Bay Sands building.
Quite a few projectors used.
Did not find out more about the projectors, it was so warm that we went into MBS to cool down ;-)

Go Fly Kites! Not being rude, but these youngsters known as the Singapore Sky Dancers were really flying kites. Go Fly Kites is the name of their performance.
They were flying kites fitted with colourful lights that has long tail with lights.
My parents in law, wife and I find it very elegant. It's synchronized flying.
Forming patterns that will just "wow" you away.
Go take a look if you are in Singapore these weekends:
It's free!
16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31 March 2012
7.30pm to 11.00pm
Waterfront Promenade, The Promontory
For a list of interesting lights to see, visit http://www.ilightmarinabay.sg/

LV
Different people see different things.
What do you see here?
I was just looking at this glass building, and I thought to myself, it's a huge jigsaw puzzle!
Look at the sizes of the glass panels, it seems almost every piece is of a different shape and size.
Must be a nightmare fixing them up!

Or maybe it's just optical illusion.
Most of it are of the same size and shape but the eye is tricking you into thinking otherwise.
Glass buildings are attractive don't you think?

Singapore largest solar park
A small country like Singapore always have to boast about it's 'largest' or 'biggest' something.
This photo shows the 'largest' solar park in Singapore. In the background, the 'largest' failure, oops i mean the flyer behind. ;-p

What a day to take this photo, it was cloudy, and I am at the solar park. :-)
Wondering where it is? It's on top of the Marina Barrage, this place makes an effort to be really green. You should visit it!

From the ECP....
When you travel from the East to the West of Singapore on the ECP, along the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, you can see the word Marina Barrage from a far...
This is how it looks if you stand right in front of it. :-)
This is the pump room that pumps the water out of the reservoir in case there's too much water.
Oh, by the way, the water at the other end of the pump room kinda stinks! *cough cough*

The yellow floaters you see from yesterday's photo, you can see it on the bottom left corner of this photo. It starts here.

The tour of the Marina Barrage. This free tour starts at the Marina Bridge.

On the right of the bridge, is the sea water which is so clean.
On the left of the bridge, the water is dirty and dark. A mixture of fresh and sea water, need a few more years before the water is slowly filled with fresh water.
