Theme Day: Fences

It's Nov 1. Another new month, another new theme for CityDailyPhoto Bloggers.
The theme this month: Fence.



This is one of the unique fences you can get in Singapore.
The fence of Haw Par Villa.



It's probably one of the places where you have to pay to go to 'hell'.
(There's a hell exhibit that you need to pay to get in. The rest of this place is free. It's quite a nice walk inside!)

With the opening of the Circle Line, this place is now very accessible!

Paris DP meets KL DP in Singapore

Last Saturday morning, it was very very very early morning, I happen to read my email and found out from Michael and Eric are here. They are here in transit to New Zealand and they have a few hours to spare. Would I want to meet up? Sure!

I sms Edwin from Kuala Lumpur Daily Photo because I know he's based in Singapore to perform. No reply... he most probably is sleeping like everyone else. But when he woke up, he called me and we arranged to meet.



This is Edwin and Eric posing in front of the poster of the show Edwin's performing in. I watched it on Sunday and it was quite good. If you are in Singapore you should catch it. Eric's finger is pointing at the sign that says, "For Adults and Big Children over 16 only". :-)

It's so incredibly fast. This site has posted up 365 pictures, and that means it is 1 year old. If you look back, the first post was on Aug 1, but there was a break and not daily. :-)




This photo is where the pictures get processed daily and get posted up. This mac has done well!

Need to thank Momo too, who fills in where the Keropokman is not out of the country at times.

Hope you have enjoyed the last 365 pictures as I have enjoyed going around taking and posting them up. Thank you all for your lovely comments, it always melts my heart reading them.

Dinner with Kaa from Vantaa Daily Photo

Last nite, I had the privilege to meet up with Kaa and her husband from Vantaa Daily Photo.

It was very interesting to meet up with DP from all over the world. When any of you DP are visiting Singapore, buzz me! We can meet for dinner too.

We had a good time chatting and knowing more about Vantaa.

It was a bit last minute so Chris from another Singapore DP could not make it. We did not have time to get Andrew from the other Singapore DP too.

Celebrating Kuala Lumpur DP's birthday in Singapore.

2 days ago, Ed from KLDP visited Singapore and met up with the 2 Singapore DP - Zannnie and Keropokman.

It was a terrific time of chatting and laughing. We met in the afternoon, keropokman was late! Anyway, it was fun meeting Zannnie for the first time in real person and Edwin for the 2nd time. Great people!

Anyway, here's a little piece of cake to celebrate KLDP's 1st birthday. Too bad the cafe ran out of candles. Nice slice of cake? It has a cute name, "oh oh lala" or something like that...



See those Mozart balls? They are from Vienna, nice little gifts from Zannnie when she visited Europe. (yes, she is still co-author of Budapest DP)



We split up around 5pm. Had dinner with other friends whom we are also meeting then met up again at the Drama Centre. (Well, I pop by IT Show, mentioned in yesterday's post)

We caught a show together at 8 pm. It's called Titoudao. Very interesting show, those in Singapore, quick quick, go catch it. Book your tix at Sistic now.

I think I am the last person to post about the meet. LOL.

The Airport Series - T2 Changi - Free Internet

With so many shops, restaurant, etc in Changi Airport, you would not bored. Just in case you get bored, you can also use the FREE!! Internet terminals available around the airport!

Examples of the Internet Terminals.


If you are like tanty - Stavenger DP, visitng Changi this Sunday, you can find them in Terminal 2 at the following areas:
- Chair Spa
- iConnect
- Near Gate E5
- Near GST Refund
- Near Transfer E & F
- All Boarding Gates
- Skyplex
- The Oasis

For details of Terminal 1, maybe you should visit the airport website, wonder if it's listed there. In any case, all boarding gates have internet access anyway :-p

Now there is no more excuse not to visit "The Keropok - Singapore Daily Picture" haha... If you have more time, visit all the DPs listed on the right! LOL...

If you are bringing your own laptop, you can plug into the Ethernet LAN points or dial-up to Singapore ISPs for free.

If you want wireless, it will cost $6 for 30 mins.
