Ikea's Book of Temptation

It's an annual event.
Ikea sends you their "Book of Temptation" around this time of the year.

Ikea Catalogue - Book of Temptation

You flip their catalogue and you want almost everything in it!
Our house is already Ikea-enough!

I like how they can make a small space so liveable in their showrooms!

People sitting at the window eating...

I am sure you can look at the two colors and guess where this place is!

The windows on the building is where the Ikea Restaurant is. It seems to be 'forever' packed with people inside.

So many people likes their famous meatballs?

Ikea

The IKEA at Alexandra has got its new look. Have not been to this area for some time and the new look outside looks good.

The interior's renovation has almost finished too. Was here to look for new furniture.

Oh ya, the Ikea sales end 12 August.

Singaporeans love Swedish Meatballs.

FÖRVAR jar with lid $2.50. Great marketing eh? Looks so cheap.
Oh yes, I have one of these FÖRVAR at home :-)

IKEA is one of many Singaporeans favourite haunt. The store is always packed. The IKEA restaurant is always so pack that you have to wait and wait to get a seat.

Colleagues and I, we went to IKEA to have lunch today. They have this "Local Meal of the day". Today's meal is Curry Rice. It consists of rice, curry vegetables, 1 fish cake, 1 otah slice and 1 piece of deepfried chicken cutlet. It cost $4.90

The Big IKEA word with the IKEA flags at the Alexandra Store.

If you are adventurous, you can try those cold plates of herring. They are actually quite delicious! A bonus for you readers, if you like Swedish Meatballs, you can make them at home with this recipe from IKEA itself. Remember to invite me over to taste it :-)
