Do monkeys eat bread?

I am not sure of the answer, but this sign in a certain park in Singapore seems to suggest that. As far as i know, monkeys usually eat bananas, some fruits and nuts. Not sure about bread though.

If you venture into most parks or reservoirs in Singapore, you would see a sign like this. If you are caught feeding the monkeys, a fine of $500 will be imposed.

Have a good week ahead! And smile :)

I like the sign! It made me smile as it looks like a comic strip :)

I like this sign very much. There should be more of it. I bet it has more success than “DON’T FEED THE MONKEYS”.

MacRitchie Reservoir Park has upped its fine for feeding monkeys to $1,000 :p Whether monkeys eat bread or not is not the issue, the issue is we are not supposed to feed the monkeys with anything at all. Feeding them conditions them to seek food from humans instead of seeking it themselves from the forests.

Who is the artist drew this picture? He is amusing. And, that's why Singapore called 'fine city'!

Last time I went to zoo's and farms, they gave me and my bro bread to feed the animals. Animals that I've fed before with bread are : giraffes, horses, monkeys (I think), elephants, camels... donkeys... fishes. Lol. That's all I think.
