Christmas Performances @ Tangs

When I saw from afar, I wondered who these people are, dressed up in traditional costumes.

This group is from Indonesia performing at the "Celebrate Christmas in Singapore" event. They belted out Christmas carols with their excellent voices.

Many group are performing at the stage area set up at Tangs, Tong Building, Paragon, Wisma Atria and Plaza Singapura.

There are also 8 brightly lit floats touring the Singapore heartlands and Orchard Road. They will spread the joy of Christmas and perform skits, drama plays and choirs singing Christmas carols.

Here's where you can catch them:

19 Dec - Joo Chiat / Katong area: Odean Katong Front Plaza.
20 Dec - Braddell Heights : Braddell Heights CC Multi-Purpose Court.
21 Dec - Buona Vista / Holland Village : Amphitheater Blk 2 Holland Avenue.
22 Dec - Jalan Besar / Lavender : Tyrwhitt Road
23 Dec - Toa Payoh : 3 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh (next to Pei Chun Public School)
24 Dec - Jurong West : Gek Poh Ville Community Club

Have a Blessed Christmas. May you find for yourself, the True Meaning of Christmas.

I was at Orchard Road last night. Many different communities performing there. I was lucky to be able to see the colourful floats pass by as I was crossing the road. The christmas mood is really there at Orchard Road.

Fantastic! I was hearing today that Christmas is embraced in many parts of Indonesia - interesting in that populous Muslim country.
