The iPhone Queue starts at Orchard Road

Aha! The madness begins yet again.
Fans of the iPhone4S have started to queue up, and I wonder what time they have been there!

I was passing by Paragon at 5:35 pm earlier today and I saw these people already waiting in queue for the phone.  Young and old, they are all in the queue!

iPhone4S queue

These two young teenagers are probably the first 2 persons to get the phone from telco M1.
Some folks in Singapore would have already bought it from the 'grey market'.

iPhone4S queue

The queue is not as bad as I thought.
It's shorter than the recent H&M queue!

Hmm. This is not my current telco for my phone, but it's the telco for my fibre line.
I wonder if I should jump telco! My 'green' telco has not been particularly nice recently.

I have a feeling that all the telcos have been given limited sets, probably too few thats why M1 and Starhub are not doing pre-registration. Singtel's preregistration ended a short while after it started stating it's sold out.

I am still thinking if I should get the new iPhone. Maybe when I have decided, it's sold out!
The wife's gonna get hers!

Magic Mouse

I got a DHL package delivered to my office today. Turns out it's a surprise from the gf. I think it's suppose to be the Christmas present? haha

But when you order it online, it takes 7-10 days (this one took 2 weeks) to deliver compared to 24 hours previously. Wonder if there's going to be a new update to this hardware?

Magic Mouse

It's a magic mouse. That's the magic one resting on the Macbook Pro.

Been using the mighty mouse for years and the small little button in the middle gets on my nerves. The magic mouse solves that problem.  Almost everything about it is nice, except that it does not move as fast as I am used to on other mice.

Last day of work...

Today's the last day of work for 2009 in our organisation. (Except for a few colleagues who are doing system maintenance, do a good job guys! haha...)

It's also a day where we got our new year present for 2010. A new replacement work notebook for our super old, out of warranty notebook.

MBP - New Year Toy

We promise we will work harder boss! ;-p

The real Macbook Air on my table.

A colleague was so excited that he finally got his MacBook Air (MBA) that he placed an order for on the day it was announced.

He brought it into my office and placed it on my desk. "Ta Da". I lay my fingers on it with a hint of covetedness. It was light! Thin! But after a while, hey, it just like the iMac I have at home wat, only mine's sitting on the table. Sounds sour grapesy? LOL...

My fingers went to work again, picking up my camera and begin to snapped away, here are some photos of it. (Sorry, I know all the Daily Photo bloggers are suppose to post 1 photo a day, but here's many more of it. haha....)

The MacBook Air.

The machine that can fit into a manila envelope!

See how thin it is...
(yes, that's the Cisco IP Phone that you see on most movies behind.)

A short similar to what another colleague posted on his blog.
(also from my table. haha..)

The new and improved touch pad.

The keyboard that my colleague said made him purchase the MBA.

Why? because when it's dark, you can see that it is a back litted keyboard.

Some people complained that there's only 1 USB, but that's no problem for him.

As in most apple hardware, you see the words: Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China.

The magsafe plug

So, you getting one too?
My colleague, known as Wire has many interesting reads on his blog. You can read what made him order the MBA too. haha..

Apple Monitors & Apple Keyboards for Information Kiosk @ Vivo City

Wow, doesn't it look nice? Vivo City, one of the newer shopping mall in Singapore recently had this new information kiosk that's also a Visa Card promo kiosk. Look, they are using high resolution Apple Monitors and the new slim Apple Keyboards.

There are a few of it side by side as well.

I guess the Apple products looks so good, they do not really need to mask it up. Most kiosk have the monitor enclosed in some boxes.

So... Do you own any Apple products?
