The First Foreign Land Visited by a Siamese Monarch

What a surprise, I never read this until a few days ago when I took a photo of this.

Singapore is the first foreign land visited by a siamese monarch.

Now, what about you? Where was the first foreign land that you visited?

For me the first foreign land that I visited was actually Singapore, arriving from the UK in 1957 and staying until July 1959. I am just waiting for my renewed passport to come back and will then be booking a flight to Singapore fairly soon. The various Singapore blogs I read have made me nostalgic and I feel a strong need to visit once again.

Jollygreenp just took the words out of my mouth - the first foreign land I visited was indeed Singapore too. And I loved it - but with only 3 days to spend there, it was way too short. We'll be back...

Must have been the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, then France. Both neighboors to my little country. The first one actually even smaller than my little country. :)
