June City Daily Photo Theme Day: Feet

It's the 1st of the month again, and it's the Daily Photo Theme Day. The theme for this month is Feet. This is an old photo I pulled out from my archives.

Chicken Feet! A delicacy that is enjoyed by many here in Singapore. (And disgusted by an equal number of people too! LOL)

Do people in your city/country eat chicken feet too?

Here in Australia we only eat chicken feet in Chinese restaurants usually at Yum Cha. These look as though they have been honeyed.

Good response to the theme ...

Jamaicans eat chicken foot only in soup. Being a vegetarian I've never tried it.

Good job on the theme! :)

I used to love it when I was a child, my grandma cooked them really deliciously...then only eat them at the Teochew Porridge place! :) I love this dim sum version also and this photo is fantastic and looked really delicious.

Jo étvágyat! (=bon appétit! in hungarian)

Yes, you get chicken feet and the head, neck, gizzards, and liver when you buy a fresh chicken here. I use some of the above for soup. Bibi loves the smoked chicken feet that my pet shop sells for dogs!

Chicken feet? I believe people in the U.S. eat every part of the chicken except the feet! I didn't know there was any meat on them.

Ha ha, never tried it, though have seen them being sold at several places.... got to run, now ;)

Alicesg,
Frogs are also called 'sweet chicken'. So you do eat chicken legs. LOL...
