I saw the latest advert by the Singapore Navy and I thought I should take a photo of it!
Part of the advert was 3D!



The rocket blasted off!
Somehow it makes a career with the Navy so cool!

Panasonic Full HD 3D TV

Last Saturday, I got invited to view the Panasonic Full HD 3D TV over breakfast.

When I got there, I was wondering why were there so many sunnies on the breakfast table!
Oops, those were not sun glasses! They were the 3D eye wear for viewing the 3D TV!

These are not the flimsy plastic ones that you put on when you watch 3D movies at the movie theatre. These are battery powered and they deliver superb 3D experience for each eye. Although I am a techie by profession, I shall not try to explain how it works. You can read about it if you are free here.




I don't have 3D lenses on my camera. So the photos I take can't show you the 3D effect. You just have to down to a Panasonic showroom or your favourite electrical shop that carries it to have a look! Go after work or during the weekends. I think you will be quite amazed.


We were watching Ice Age 3 in 3D!  If you have watch Ice Age in 2D, you should view it in 3D!
What you see on the photo below is just a 2D image, just imagine it popping up in front of you when you watch it with the 3D glasses on the HD 3D TV!

Shh... guess where's my favourite place to read? While sitting on the throne doing business. LOL.. Really! It seems it runs in the family.

Catch Spouse Cheating

Saw this advertisement on the walls of Peninsula Plaza. It's an advertisement by a Private Investigator company.

What caught my eye is the URL. (Website Address).



It says Catch Spouse Cheating! LOL
Is that the main business of private investigators I wonder....

Stole a cow?

These fake cows are some by this advertising company called Moove Media. These cow placards is synonymous with them now.



These few weeks, this company have cows with Chinese Characters like this one appearing randomly at different places.

Momo saw this at one house, hmm and wonders if this family 'stole' it and left it in front of their house. haha..

Seen on the bus stop...

Well, walking home few days ago, I passed by an advert at the bus stop. I thought I would post it up, so here it is.



I am curious to find out, what's this advert about?? LOL...

Dancing in the middle of the road

It sure was eye-catching.

We were waiting for the 'green man' to come on at the traffic lights. When the lights turn green, these few people walked to the middle of the road and started dancing, with music from the 'stereo'.



It caught many people's eye. Then at the side, a few people gave out brochures to those who looked curious. It was a marketing gimmick. haha..

Beautiful hoardings.

Gone are the days where hoardings are ugly. Over the last few years, we see hoardings that are very attractive. Yet another building on Orchard Road that's refurbishing.

Fixing up the eye catching graphics. It looks as if they are real windows display!



The rest of it, still waiting for the workers to put up the advertisements.

These pictures are more than 1 week old. But I thought it was interesting. Everyone seems to be peeping inside this big box along Orchard Road.

It was the advertisement for the newly relaunched Magnum ice cream.
I think my sis is more interested in shoes than the ice cream. LOL...

Saw this and I was smiling. By drinking evian, you can be french? LOL

rednano adverts

A new online search facility has been launched in Singapore. It's a joint venture between a publisher of the biggest local newspaper and a Norwegian firm.

It's called Red Nano. Why? I guess Singapore's also known as a red dot. Now the dot's getting smaller with them naming it nano.



RedNano's are very aggressive in their advertising. Their ads have been appearing in the local papers. Earlier today, I saw this on the underground trains stations.

I was caught in the rain a few nights ago. So I ran to the nearest bus shelter and sat down and wait for the rain to stop.

This caught my eye. How interesting the concept is.



If you are wondering.. It's a drink called "Heaven & Earth" by the Coca Cola company. Be clear. LOL....

Paint the Sky....

Just happen to see the new advert that was on the bus.



Paint the Sky! Must be a new company that does sky advertising. I seldom see the in the clouds advertising in Singapore. Maybe it is not, wonder what it is...

I think I saw a post on it at one of the New York Daily Photo.

Brilliant Rose - Ladies best friend?

Looking at this Brilliant Rose bus stop, do you ever wonder what a Brilliant Rose is?



A Brilliant Rose is a diamond that is cut to have 66 facets. Normal diamond cuttings have the classic 58 cuts. There are many places where you can find information about diamonds on the web. Out of curiosity about Brilliant Rose, I have spend the last 2 hours reading it. OOoo.. information overload.

The photo above is taken at a bus stop which was covered with roses. It is advertising the Brilliant Rose cuts of diamonds by Soo Kee Jewellery. I think they are the only people licensed to sell Brilliant Rose in South East Asia.

This was funny. Saw it few days ago on a SBS Transit bus.
No SUGAR? Afraid that it will attract ants?



Oh yes, if you have sharp eyes, take a look at the EZ link reader on this bus, its the SBS Transit colour!

New Breed of Hip and Flat Cows.

These cows invaded Singapore the last time, and cause a mad cow frenzy disease. Everyone was wondereing what it was.



This time it is back again, celebrating its anniversary!

Do you know they actually have names? The one in front is Marilyn. The one behind is Michael. Can you see the similarity with the stars they are named after? :-)
