It protects the nice designs that you see on the walls too.
The 3 buildings have different bright colours. I wonder how they decide to choose those colours. LOL. A high resolution photo of it can be viewed here.

Yes, they look great! and the color. Wonder if they were as this nice as of old times when they were new.
