The Hungry Crowd at the New Arts Canteen, NUS

This is the lunch time crowd as the first day opening of the newly renovated Arts Canteen in the National University of Singapore. It finally opened today.

It was mad! We had to queue half an hour or so for the food, while colleagues had to wait for seats.

This is a follow up post to what I posted about this canteen in November 2006.

Are you mad enough to queue for food at times?

That's a very neat building (I just looked at your Nov post). Hopefully, the novelty will wear off soon and you won't have to wait that long for food/seats.

Me? I can't stand crowds, so if there's going to be a queue, I'll go somewhere else.

So, how did you like the food? Was the service good? What did you have?

Would like to point out that the arts canteen is generally a popular place for everyone (esp engineering guys :p)

It is unlikely the queue will die down during lunch time cos everyone is gonna get food then go to class.

from my observation, the best time to visit any canteen in nus is 11:30!

I hate crowd so I don't queue for anything unless its critical.
