South East Asian Ice Dessert

Yesterday you saw what the locals love at get at only 50 cents.

This is the other version that is more satisfying! Ice Kachang.
Ice Shavings with lots of different toppings. Red Beans, Sweet Corn Cream and many other hidden gems under.

Have you tried this?

Hi, I'm a "kepo" too and would like to comment ;)

I really missed this stuff a lot!
Left Singapore about 7 years ago, hope one day would come to visit my second surrogate country.
And... for sure would grab this ice kachang first!!!

We used to have a manual ice machine and every day we used to shave ice in the summer - it was my job. Mom loves the sweet beans and green tea powder - I loved it with anything sweet and cold, including these commercial syrups full of articifial sweeteners, flavours and colors. Ahhh, the good old 70's.

I like this one a lot. We call it 'Pat-bingsu(氷水)', literally meaning red bean sherbet.

We have these at Malaysian restaurants. We call them ABC - Air Batu Kacang.
