Take a peep inside the moon....

Judging from yesterday's comments, I think our friends from overseas have not really seen or tasted mooncakes :-)

Here's a view of what it looks inside. This one is the 'modern' ones with fillings that are different. This has macadamia nuts.




Traditional ones have salted egg yolks and some has melon seeds.

Even more contemporary ones are those made by Haagan Dazs! Ice cream mooncakes.

Mooncake,yummy.I enjoy mooncakes.Luckily every year,my dad's friends and clients who are chinese give us some.

I would love to try the Haagan Daz mooncakes.Sounds yummy.

I'm not a fan of mooncakes but I love your photo of it. Very gourmet food magazine editorially.
