Christmas Lights @ Orchard Road

It's still early, but the lights are up! Not officially 'launched' yet, but some parts of the lights are already brightly litted and everyone seems to be taking photos of it.

Christmas lights, it's already nearing Christmas! Hmmm what would you be hoping to get for presents this year? (or what are you buying yourself this year. haha.)

You guys are getting the decorations up earlier than us. Normally, the stores start the decorations after Thanksgiving, which is next week.

For Christmas this year, I'm getting a few new magazine subscriptions. I'm not a big fan of the commercialization of Christmas so I tend to ask for things that last throughout the year.

Wow, Singapore has changed a lot since I last saw it in 2002. I am now living in the US. However, one thing has not change is putting up the christmas decorations early. It starts as early like on 15th Nov right, hhehe....

Aiyah, I missed the asian fare, the hawker centres and shopping at the HDB shops and malls next to the MRT stations.

Keropok Man> I stumed upon your two blogs by chance, and was so happy that I did. I want to thank you for showcasing the best place for makan, and featuring some newsworthy and interesting stories, wah I see the yummy pictures until lau nuar (salivating).

Please keep 'em pictures and stories coming!!!

God bless you and your family!!!

Sincerely,
June aka Cheena Bukit

Well you know, a week ago I was stunned to see the holliday window of Barneys New York already done (Ming, you need to go shopping more!). Usually, everything gets ready just a few days before Thanksgiving.
That makes for magical pictures, like yours.

This is so beautiful. Andrassy ut will look like this pretty soon but the lights on your photo are so much whiter. Lights in Budapest look more yellow.
