Terminal 3 Open House to public starts today!

Just look at the number of luggages that are waiting to be checked-in. Too many to count. These are to simulate the load for testing the many systems at Terminal 3. If you are in Singapore and want to have a sneak preview, head down to Changi Airport between today to 9 December. Open House details at: http://www.changiairport.com/t3/openhouse/

These are part of the many photos I took two Saturdays ago at the Terminal 3 preview that was opened to certain groups of people first. Remember to visit the toilet too! haha..

Rows of neatly positioned hard cover luggages.....

Not forgetting the softer bags too...

In Jan 2008 when Terminal 3 opens, wow! the airport can cater to 70 million users annually, more than 15 times the Singapore population!

Visitors from overseas, you should visit Singapore after 8 Jan 2008 if you want to use this terminal. Fly these airlines which will use Terminal 3. Singapore Air, China Eastern Airlines, Jet Airways, Qatar Airways and United Airlines.

My goodness, that is a lot of people. I hope it means things will run efficently and maybe we can send some folks over to learn how. They are always loosing my bags/

WOW! Changi is already an amazing airport. One of the easiest to transit. You know how I love swimming? I have even had a swim in the rooftop pool at Changi between flights :-)

I have also had a sleep at the Transit hotel on a 7 hour transit stop!

Nice pics...not sure if I actually like the look of the new decor though. Not as modern as some terminals. Still some nice pics!

I love the first pic! It's has sort of a humorous touch to it with all those luggages looking exactly the same.
