Christmas Tree @ Raffles City Shopping Centre

It looks like most Christmas deco is up all around the city. I think only the people who have not done it are the ones who wants to put up deco in their homes.

This was taken yesterday when I was walking to meet friends for dinner.
It's really a tall tree eh?

Do you put up Christmas deco in your home?

Oh wow, it's already up? Big tall tree indeed!
I usually put 3 trees (see here). ;)
I usually go back to Brussels for the Christmas holliday, so I enjoy the big tree my parents bring into the house each year. :)

Not these days except for a couple of things. We have a crib that comes out every year - it goes up on the 1st December and comes down on the 6th January see http://ackworthborn.blogspot.com/2006/12/christmas-crib.html and we take some pictures down off the wall and display all the Christmas cards we receive thereon.

I have a small apartment and I live alone so no tree in there. I think most people put up the trees for the kids.

Martha Stewart Living (blush) December 2007 issue has some great ideas for simple Christmas decorations for small NYC apartments.

I don't think it is real. Unless it was trim.

Christmas deco are up so early, by the time it is christmas, the mood will be gone!

olivier,
it's a Singapore thing, i dont know why, but they always have big big trees!

lavendarlady,
you can still decorate it if you want to, with a small little tree :-)

Ackworth,
that's a nice tradition you have there!

ming,

ro_pumpkin,
yes, it's mad shopping. that's why they have this thing call the Great Singapore Sale.

Alex,
