Holy Smoke - It's Satay

This photo was taken recently at a friend's church wedding reception. Satay is cooked on the spot and served to guest.

For visitors from other parts of the world, Satay are pieces of marinated meat skewered on bamboo sticks, cooked over charcoal.

I love satay. I remember having satay eating competitions with dad when I was young. He will order like 30 sticks for a start and we will see who can eat the most. We will order more if we can still eat. yum yum..
