Stones for health....

Guess what this is? They are stones, but what are they for? Laid out so neatly on the ground.

These are the many reflexology paths in many HDB housing estates around Singapore. You are to walk barefoot on them. Supposedly, if your health is good, you won't feel the pain walking on it. But to me, it's painful. Ouch!

It usually has different type of stones, with different shapes and surfaces. The photo above is only part of the track of stones. It shows only 2 different kind of stones. It is arrange with the sides up, so walking on it, to me is painful!

Well, as my cardio instructor shouts in class, no pain no gain. arrghhh...

The photo is very well taken. I find it too painful to finish the entire walk. :)

There's a couple of those near my place but too painful for me.

Kris, you sound like one who will try anything for health's sake. lol

Jazzy, try it next time, you will enjoy it more than looking at pictures :-)

Paddy, after a few walk initially when they fixed it, I have not stepped on it again. haha..

Luggi, does it? Hmmm maybe when one's angry, they should go walk on it. :-)

I like the patterns in the photo presented by the stones. But I don't like the idea of walking barefoot on them. Ouch is right.

The pattern is beautiful, and the stones look just large enough to walk on barefoot. I would certainly try it!

How funny, just as soon as I saw this my feet stated to tingle...they WANT to walk on this. I've never seen or heard of anything like it before though. They are quite lovely.

Denton: Try it if you have a chance. It's quite 'ouchy' but its nice after a while.

Sarah: Go for it! Do you have such therepeutic paths in San Antonio?

Susan: Yeah they are. Try it too!

Interesting comment that you shouldnt feel pain when walking on them. Not sure about that!
