Welcome in many languages

Yesterday's post has multilingual talk. Now....

Do you feel good when you see words in language you know?

Maybe that's why they have this multi language greeting to welcome people who arrive at the airport. The first 4 are the 4 national language of Singapore, the rest I am sure many reading this will instantly recognize it!

Welcome!

A short survey, how many languages can you speak? For me, I speak English, Chinese (Mandarin and the Hokkien dialect), Malay, and a few words of French. (too lazy to continue French classes)

English fluently, Spanish haltingly with a dictionary! I'm interested in how many North Americans speak more than one language. Not many I'd bet, unless they're immigrants. Your photo is very welcoming.

One of the many things I loved about changi airport. I'm from the u.s., so sadly, I only speak english well. A few other dialects from Ethiopia but only enough to navigate the market and get/give directions.

I can speak english, french, and tiny bits of german and japanese. I'm from canada and went to a french immersion school. I haven't been keeping it up very well so my french is getting worse and worse.

Hi all!

It seems most people can speak 2 languages, even if it is meowing or barking! haha...

Everyone have a great day ahead!

Those who needs French lessons, read Olivier's DP :-) Maybe Edwin should relearn his French from Olivier.
