Esplanade Durian's that not pokey pokey

We always see pictures of the Esplanade with the spikes. Here's an angle of the famed roof that's not at the pokey sides. People have their gentler side, even buildings too.

hi, let you know that when I firstly came to Singapore and got downtown, my favourite building were the spaceship building and this half circle building

Corn-on-the-Cob hotel! (OK if you look at it from the left.) I saw the people at the bottom of Almadillo theatre there - gives an idea of the size of the thing.
