I can't see properly - don't you drive on the left as well?

I saw somewhere else that the Toyota is the most commonly used Taxi. They must be pretty reliable. Are taxis expensive in Singapore?

The advertising seems to be a regular theme to the taxis too! Very colourful.

interesting colours they painted the cab~~as I think!
In Shanghai, the normal taxis are Santana. Because there is a Santana factory in Shanghai.

I like the green and blue colours. What about the slogan 'a new degree in flexibility' - what does it refer to?

The bi-colors are not as common as those of only one shade--nice shot!

irredento, the new toyota crowns are so huge in the interior, they are so comfortable right?

kris, you can visit singapore to ride on it again.

ham, we, we drive on the left, but the taxi's parked ;-)

eric, taxis are not that expensive compared to London, Paris or other big cities. But prices just increased last month or so. Flag down rate is SGD2.50 Every 210 metres is 10 cents. But there's lots of surcharges.

john, yeah, most taxis are all wrapped up in advertisements here. I remember once, all the taxis all had an extra tail!

jing, i must google to find out what are santanas ;-)

jazzy, i think adverts make waiting time more interesting when you are stuck in some jam. haha...

nathalie, i think the advert is for U21Global, some tertiary institution, i guess they are saying they are really flexible.

kaa, other than Comfort, there are SMRT (formerly TIBS), Yellow Top Cabs, City Cabs are now also under the Comfort Delgro umbrella, but still retain their identity. There are 2 new comers, Union Gas Cabs and Smart.

Kate, thanks.

Good slogan on the side of the taxi. Also, it is interesting that the slogan is in English.
