Candy Cane

Blessed Christmas to one and all! May this Christmas season be a meaningful one for you.

One of the traditions of Christmas was the candy cane, which many children grew to love - if they like peppermint flavour. Though nowadays, they come in several other varities too. This one shown here is a peppermint one, which is white with red stripes.

Does anyone knows the origins of the candy cane? There are several versions going around, originating from different places. Although, i do know that the original candy cane was straight and completely white.

Try one today! You may like it :)

I see some things saying it's in the shape of a J for Jesus, but I've long thought of the shape to be of a Sheep herder's cane. Interesting question about the actual origin of this traditional Christmas candy. Merry Christmas to you!
